Wes Williams has served as SITES/HSCC Director for the past two years going on three for Atlanta BDPA. Mr. Williams got his start in 2001 in Memphis, TN. He was on the first place Memphis HSCC team and later served as assistant coach being the first and only chapter to win first place four-times in a row. This was done between 2001-2004. Mr. Williams later moved to Chattanooga, TN and revived their student program. The Chattanooga team came in 4th place in 2006 and 5th place in 2007. After accomplishing his goals in Chattanooga and he began a new start Atlanta, GA. Mr. Williams had always wanted to work the Mighty Atlanta chapter for years. He resumed responsibilities as SITES/HSCC coordinator in late 2007. In 2008, the student program had a promising future. The program began with 30 students and ended with 20. The students went to compete in their first ever regional competition in Cincinnati,OH winning 2nd place. The student later won 5th place at the national competition. Once again, competing in their first ever national competition. Mr. Williams and his SITES/HSCC team look forward to making sure the Atlanta program stays number 1 for years to come.
